The download of the FALTER app is free. The supplements can also be read for free. Subscribers of the print edition can download FALTER issues at no cost through Abo login. Without a subscription, individual issues of FALTER can be purchased directly in the app.

• Archive feature: Read downloaded issues offline, and they remain archived in the app.
• Article reading mode: Read individual articles by tapping in a mobile-optimized text view with adjustable font size, share interesting articles with friends, and jump directly to the next article.
• Bookmarks: Save individual articles in your personal watchlist to read them offline later.
• Full-text search: Search the entire issue in full text; found text passages will be highlighted.
• Read-aloud function: Have individual articles and the entire issue read aloud with a dedicated player.
